As an advertiser, you may be managing thousands of keywords that you want to optimize correctly and quickly. Today, this task can be difficult to accomplish given the large volume of keywords you have to sift through in the current data table/grid view. Soon, however, you’ll be able to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) across thousands of keywords and easily explore optimization opportunities with our new Keyword Distribution Graph.

This innovative solution allows you to not only understand the big picture of a keyword’s performance at a glance, but gives you the ability to quickly identify high impact keywords.

How does it work?

A distribution graph places keywords into a set of performance buckets, each bucket represented as a bar as shown in the visual below.

You’ll see that the size of the bar represents the number of keywords in a bar, a given performance level or bucket. You can then interact with the graph using the slider and side bracket to examine the data at different performance levels.

Where can you see it?

You will be able to see this new feature on the web UI’s Keywords tab. In a glance, you can see the performance big picture of your entire set of keywords. In the example below, your entire set has 6447 keywords.

Bing Ads Keyword Distribution_ Keyword Distribution FilterYou can then visually filter the keywords to adjust the graph view. For example, by clicking the top bracket of the “avg. CPC” graph, you can identify the 11 most expensive keywords, as shown below:
