Recently, David Pann blogged about the positive momentumwe are seeing across the Bing search business, including audience growth across the Yahoo Bing Network and significant strides in ads performance in our marketplace. Core pillars enabling this momentum are investments in our marketplace, new ads formats, training, marketing resources and the support we offer to our partners, enabling them to be successful on to our platform.

To ensure our agency partners are aware of new opportunities and resources available to them, we are launching Bing Ads Connect, a series of hands-on events for this year and next. These events will share the Bing Ads platform vision, new features, audience insights and exciting agency resources. Bing Ads experts will be onsite to provide 1:1 support for account creation or to help optimize existing accounts. Additionally, the afternoon will include a free Bing Ads Accreditation and exam for those interested. If you work for an agency interested in exploring the search advertising landscape, or for an agency that already has clientele running search advertising campaigns, we will have session content to meet all skill levels.

Bing Ads Connect will kick-off in Seattle on November 5, 2013, followed by Toronto, Canada on November 20, 2013. Additional events are planned in 2014 including Los Angeles (February), San Francisco (March), New York (April), Austin (April) and Chicago (May). Seats for these events are limited, so claim your seat todayfor the upcoming Seattle event. Registration for other events will be made available closer to their respective event dates.

As an incentive, each attendee in Seattle will receive a copy of the new Bing Ads Holiday Kit, hot off the presses that week. The kit includes coupons to help onboard new customers, a pitch brochure, holiday checklist, Bing Ads Infographic poster, and holiday cards to send to your customers.

If you’re interested in attending the Bing Ads Accreditation session, please do the following prior to the event:

  1. Bring your own PC, no spare PCs or written tests are available.
  2. Sign up for your Microsoft Account, you will need this to take the exam.
  3. Review the training on Bing Ads. Although not mandatory, this will pre-work that will come in handy when taking the exam.

Thanks for reading and we hope to see you there!
